One-of-a-kind pieces for the one-of-a-kind woman. 

 I think a piece of jewelry should be as unique as the person who owns it.  With that in mind, I never mass-produce any of my pieces. When you buy a Kathleen Cavalaro, rest assured that you're wearing on original work of art!

I hand-make each piece of jewelry using materials I find in my travels.  Some pieces may be vintage pendants I fashioned into something new, or gemstones I found in various parts of the world.  My favorite medium, however, is wire.  I love the possibilities of working with a simple coiled ounce of flexible metal and seeing what design I can unearth.

I am also constantly learning new techniques.  Right now I'm working on sculpting forms out of clay and making molds of them. I then cast in either sterling silver, gold or brass to create limited edition pendants and charms.  But I always have the next idea in the back of my mind, and before long, I'll be onto the next technique.
